These are brand new carbide tipped (inlaid) planer knives, that measure 15 x 1 x 1/8", in a balanced set of 3 knives. These knives will fit Grizzly, Delta DC-380, Reliant, Woodtech, Jet and most 15" import machines. Carbide is particularly good with difficult woods like teak, hickory and maple. It also performs very well with engineered wood products that contain glue, like MDF, LVL, edge-glued stock and glue bonded fiberboards. Please be aware that carbide tipped knives must be re-sharpened with either a diamond or silicone-carbide grinding wheel. The knives can be hand-honed using a silicone-carbide slip stone.

These are brand new high speed steel planer knives, that measure 15 x 1 x 1/8", in a set of 3 knives. These knives will fit Grizzly, Delta DC-380, Reliant, Woodtech, Jet and most 15" import machines. They are made of high quality T1 High Speed Steel material. T1 material contains 18% tungsten, which makes it much more abrasion resistant (longer wearing) than either standard D2 or M2 high speed steel material.
